Clean Sweep Campaign Launched

clean sweepMaidstone's biggest Clean Sweep campaign has started. Over six weeks local volunteers, Councillors and Council officers are clearing litter from our borough.

Clean sweeps reach the areas standard cleaning rounds don't reach. They can really make a difference for the better. Many local groups are already involved. Please get your local residents associations, pubs, societies, clubs or schools to join in. Together we can really make a difference in our Âtown, villages and countryside.

Litter-pickers, gloves, sacks and high visibility waist-coat are available from Alison Sollis at Maidstone Council on tel. 01622 602281
