Re-Open Our Public Toilets

11.16.00am GMT Fri 12th Feb 2010

The closure of public toilets by Conservative run Maidstone Council has hit the elderly and young families hard.

Local campaigner Dave Naghi said: "Shopping in Maidstone for young families is now a lot more complicated. I feel especially sorry for expectant mums visiting Maidstone who rely more than most on this service.

"This is just another example of the bad decisions made by Hugh Robertson's Conservatives. I will fight for the interests of local people, to stop these ridiculous policies."
